Capital One announced that Wendy Segal has joined as Managing Director and Market Manager for the New York Metro Regional Commercial Banking group. Wendy will report to Lou Mastrianni, Head of Northeast Regional Commercial Banking.

Wendy has over 30 years of diverse experience in commercial banking and is known for providing strategic advice and financial solutions to middle market and Fortune 1000 public and private companies. She joins Capital One after two and a half years as New York Market Manager for City National Bank, a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada. Prior to that, she spent 24 years at J.P. Morgan Chase, serving in various roles, including Market Executive for Metro New York Middle Market Banking.

Wendy earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Barnard College, Columbia University, and her MBA in accounting from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business. In 2018, she was named as a Notable Woman in Finance by Crain’s New York Business.
