Bank Leumi announced today that Leon Terrano will join the organization as a Group Head in the Northeast Middle Market team within the Commercial Banking division, based in New York. The bank also announced that Doug Meyer has been promoted to Group Head in the Northeast Middle Market team. Terrano and Meyer will report to Robert Maichin, Leumi’s Northeast Market President. In their new roles, Terrano and Meyer will each lead a team of Middle Market bankers focused on serving the financial needs of middle market businesses within the U.S. Northeast market.

Leon Terrano maintains over 35 years of diversified commercial banking experience and joins Leumi from Flushing Bank, where he led a team of bankers focused on the Middle Market space within the New York metropolitan area. Before that, Terrano spent the majority of his banking career at JPMorgan Chase in various leadership positions within the Middle Market banking group.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Leon from our previous tenure at JPMorgan Chase,” said Robert Maichin. “I consider him an outstanding banker and leader, and I look forward to building on our momentum in this market with his addition to the team.”

Meyer has over 14 years of commercial banking experience and joined Leumi in 2015. He is currently spearheading Leumi’s national expansion into the water sector.
