FTI Consulting, Inc. announced that Michael Ovalles has joined the firm’s Office of the CFO Solutions practice as a Managing Director. He will be based in Miami.
 
Ovalles brings deep finance transformation expertise, including designing and implementing nimble and agile finance functions, to help chief financial officers (CFOs) deliver value to their organizations and external stakeholders at the lowest possible cost.
 
“CFOs must deploy resources effectively as they are called upon to provide greater insights into business strategy and operations,” said Gina Gutzeit, Leader of the OCFO Solutions practice and a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. “With nearly 20 years of experience, Michael strengthens our ability to help clients achieve efficiencies and address opportunities in their finance organizations.”
 
Ovalles partners with clients in a range of industries, providing expertise in finance function and back-office optimization through integration, cost reduction, operating model realignment, organizational structure redesign, financial reporting simplification, and other finance transformation initiatives.
 
Ovalles was most recently a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in finance transformation.
