Gemspring Capital, LLC, a lower middle market private equity firm with $350 million of equity capital under management, announced that Aron Grossman has joined as a Principal on the investment team and will lead the firm’s software investment practice.
Aron brings twelve years of investing and operating experience to Gemspring, most recently as a Principal with Rho Capital, a technology-focused private equity firm with $1.4 billion capital under management. At Rho, Aron focused on the origination and execution of enterprise software investments. Previously, Aron spent five years in operating roles at software businesses, first as CFO of Voxy, a venture-backed education technology company, and later as Founder and CEO of Cleanshelf, a software expense management provider. Earlier in his career, Aron was a private equity investor with Tailwind Capital, and an investment banker at Houlihan Lokey,
