Capital One announced that John Crosby has been named Head of Commercial Underwriting and Portfolio Management. In his new role, Crosby is responsible for overseeing all underwriting and portfolio management activities for Capital One’s Commercial Banking portfolio. He will be based in New York and reports to Mike Slocum, president of Capital One Commercial Banking.
Crosby joined Capital One in 2015 with the bank’s acquisition of General Electric Capital Corporation’s Healthcare Financial Services lending business, where he served as Chief Credit Officer. Prior to joining GE Capital in 1993, Crosby was an Audit Manager with KPMG. He graduated from Quinnipiac University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
