Derrick Johnson has joined BMO Harris Bank as vice president of Business Development for the Asset Based Lending Group. Based in Minneapolis, Johnson is responsible for originating asset based loans to middle market companies throughout the United States and Canada.
"Derrick is a proven leader in the Twin Cities market," said Mike Scolaro, Managing Director, BMO Harris Bank Asset Based Lending. "His experience will be an important addition to our growing organization."
Prior to joining BMO Harris Bank, Johnson worked in U.S. Bank's asset based and middle market lending groups in Minneapolis. Johnson began his career in public accounting with Ernst and Young in their Financial Services practice in Minneapolis. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from Minnesota State University and is a CPA.
