BMO Harris Bank announced that it has named Greg Geist as Commercial Banking Market Executive, Arizona. In the role, Geist will be accountable for business development and overseeing BMO’s commercial banking operations throughout the region. 

According to his LinkedIn profile, Geist began his career at JPMorgan Chase, rising to the position of vice president of commercial banking. He moved on to Wells Fargo Private Bank, and in June joined BMO Harris as a Managing Director.

Geist, who has a BA from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University, brings 16 years of commercial and private banking experience to the role, the last ten of which have been in Phoenix. He has spent his entire career focused on providing financial solutions for business owners and high net worth individuals. He takes over a commercial banking team that has grown extensively over the past year, a direct reflection of the strength of the local economy in Phoenix.
