Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced that Pierre-Yves Morisset has joined the organization as a business development officer to lead its efforts in Western Canada. He will be based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Morisset’s efforts will be focused on originating loans for Wells Fargo Capital Finance in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

Morisset joins Wells Fargo Capital Finance with 13 years lending experience. Most recently, Morisset was the head of ABL Corporate Accounts and Western Canada at CIBC, where he was responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating, executing and assisting in managing transactions from $10 million to over $500 million for companies in a wide range of industries and situations from turnaround and restructuring to rapid growth. Prior to CIBC, he was a vice president at GE Corporate Lending. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Laval University in Quebec.
