AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, announced that retail and consumer-experience expert Adam Pressman has joined the firm’s Retail Practice as a Managing Director. He will work from AlixPartners’ Chicago office.
Pressman brings nearly two decades of consulting experience, including a deep expertise in digital transformation in the retail industry, from hypergrowth direct-to-consumer startups to multi-national Fortune 100 brands.
Additionally, he has broad experience in the health-and-wellness space from his work in various transformations related to pharmacy companies. Across the transformations he has led, he has helped clients decipher how people, technology, and data are revolutionizing the way brands and consumers interact to shape behaviors, drive operations, and improve overall experience and outcomes.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Pressman was a partner at consulting firm A.T. Kearney, where he was a member of their digital transformation practice. He also co-founded the firm’s integrated customer engagement and design-thinking capabilities and co-led its retail operations study. Prior to A.T. Kearney, he held the position of consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he conducted several projects related to custom software development and implementation.
Pressman has an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
“We are pleased to welcome Adam to AlixPartners,” said Simon Freakley, CEO of AlixPartners. “His expertise in digital transformation in retail, as well as in the pharmacy sector, will be of great value to our clients as they strive to achieve world-class performance.”
