Woodsville Guaranty Promotes Veteran Commercial Bankers

James Graham, President and Chief Executive Officer of Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank announced recent employee promotions.

Amanda Arcone of Franconia, N.H. was promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer. She has more than 28 years of professional experience in lending, cash management and treasury services, sales, business development, management, and client services. She joined WGSB in 2017 and works at the bank’s Littleton, Cottage Street office, managing commercial loan relationships within northern New Hampshire.

Cheryl Crown of Ryegate, was promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President and Operations Officer. She is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and compliance of the bank’s Operations Department, including electronic banking, ATM, and debit card services. Since joining the bank in 1998, she has held many positions, most of those in a management role within the Operations Department, and has led many significant projects for the bank.

Jon Hobbs of Woodsville was promoted from Assistant Vice President to Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. He joined the bank in August 2003 as a residential lender and moved to commercial lending in 2013, due to his personal interest in the local business community. As a Commercial Loan Officer, his ability to understand and support the needs of the local business community has made him an important resource to business owners in the Haverhill, Wells River, and surrounding areas.

Ashley Ricker of Piermont, N.H., was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Regional Branch Manager. She joined the bank in 2015 as Branch Manager of the Woodsville, Central Street and Walmart offices, and then accepted responsibility for the Piermont and Lisbon offices as well. As Regional Branch Manager, she is responsible for the oversight and support of branch operations, employees, and customer needs at the bank’s four western-most offices.

“Each of these employees demonstrates a high level of skill in their jobs and each plays an important part in the bank’s ability to grow, while continuing to serve the needs of customers,” said Graham. “On behalf of the bank and its board, I thank them for their efforts and appreciate all that they do for the customers of WGSB.”
