Equify Financial, LLC, a division of Equify, LLC, a privately owned, independent, middle market financing company, announced John Heist, Jr. has joined its as Director of Capital Markets.

As Director of Capital Markets, Heist will be responsible for establishing Equify as a market leader in capital markets to its peers. He hopes to expand its sell side capabilities for the company along with creating a buy side that works along with the core competencies of Equify.

“We are excited to bring John on board as our new Director of Capital Markets,” said Patrick Hoiby, President of Equify Financial. “I have known John for a long time and his extensive knowledge and experience in the industry will help drive our company forward.”

Prior to joining Equify Financial, John was Vice President of Syndications for Summit Funding Group. With over 30 years’ experience in the finance industry, he also held positions at CCA Financial Services and NELCO Ltd.

“I am excited to be given the flexibility to develop the capital markets department for Equify Financial and start building relationships that will not only help Equify Financial, but our customers as well,” Heist said.
