Adirondack Bank has announced that John F. Buffa has been appointed as the new executive vice president of commercial banking.
Buffa brings more than 30 years of banking and commercial services experience to his new role at Adirondack.
His extensive knowledge of commercial banking and track record of impeccable customer service will be a huge asset in this position.
Buffa lives in Utica with his wife and is heavily involved in the community. He currently sits on the board of the Mohawk Valley EDGE, the Utica Industrial Development Agency, Liberty Affordable Housing, and Upstate Cerebral Palsy/Upstate Caring Partners.
He also is a committee member of the New York Business Development Corporation and the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties. He has two grown children and a grandson.
