Alvarez & Marsal's (A&M) Healthcare Industry Group has expanded its Technology Advisory and Transformation services with the addition of Ian Donner and Avishek Nandi and as Senior Directors in New York. This expanded capability is in response to clients’ increasing need for specialized technology advisory and strategic transformation services amidst complex healthcare challenges.
Mr. Donner’s and Mr. Nandi’s knowledge of technology transition and implementation issues combined with their deep understanding of healthcare organizational operations will provide clients with innovative, forward-thinking insights and solutions.
Mr. Donner and Mr. Nandi bring more than 15 years of experience in information technology (IT) and hands-on knowledge in healthcare business transformation. They join A&M after serving across the diverse segments of the healthcare industry and bring deep insights in employing technology for business optimization and value creation.

Mr. Donner’s primary areas of concentration will be strategy and operations, IT cost optimization, complex transformations and due diligence. He has extensive healthcare knowledge and expertise in commercial markets and government programs. His executive leadership experience includes working with national and international healthcare organizations, large multi-market health plans and unique high-growth startups. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Donner spent several years with Anthem, Inc., where he most recently served as Vice President of IT Business Relationship Management and Service Transformation.
Mr. Nandi will focus on helping clients with IT strategy planning for product innovation and business transformation, post-merger technology integration, technology organization optimization and vendor evaluation and contracting. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Nandi spent seven years with Cigna Health Insurance Company serving as Program Director. He led Cigna's partnership with an insurance technology company and developed post-merger integration plan for a major divestiture.
