Gordon Brothers Europe has expanded with the opening of a new office in Birmingham that extends the reach of the valuation and corporate recovery group. Gordon Brothers initiated the group in November 2012 and officially launched in May 2013. The group consists of professionals within the asset-based lending and insolvency and restructuring markets.

James Acton will head up the Birmingham office on behalf of the group. Acton brings close to ten years' experience in asset valuation, having completed major online auction sales across a range of industry sectors. He will be joined by David McNulty, who brings ten years of experience in the asset-based lending sector.

Birmingham is the second regional office to open within the year.
