Webster Bank is expanding its commitment to the transportation and logistics industry with the addition of Nick Weaver as senior vice president, regional manager, Middle Market Banking. Weaver will report to Scott Meves, regional president, Pennsylvania.
Weaver will be responsible for building a team focused on serving Webster clients and prospective customers in the transportation and logistics industry. Working with colleagues across Commercial Banking, they will provide working capital solutions, acquisition financing and cash management and treasury solutions.
“Nick’s wealth of experience in building and growing teams targeting this increasingly important business vertical will be critical to our goals of driving new business and revenue opportunities in the markets we serve,” said Sam Hanna, executive vice president, head of Middle Market Banking.
Weaver has more than 20 years of experience in building and managing transportation-focused sales and strategy teams at major regional and national financial institutions, including most recently as managing director, specialized industries, at The Private Bank/CIBC U.S. in Atlanta, Georgia.
Weaver earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and his MBA from Emory University Goizueta Business School.
