Date: Jan 07, 2022 @ 08:00 AM

EisnerAmper named Danielle Barrs as the Director of ESG Strategic Solutions.

Barrs will work with clients to solve key variables in the sustainability equation, including carbon emissions, energy efficiency, clean energy, ESG performance, capital investment and societal impact. She will develop enterprise climate and sustainability objectives for clients that align with each company’s corporate strategy by developing a tailored, long-term sustainability roadmap and guiding them through implementation. Additionally, Danielle will help train clients on ESG best practices.

With more than 10 years of experience in this burgeoning discipline, Barrs has worked with Fortune 500 companies, NGOs and governmental organizations. Prior to joining the firm, she was the Head of Global Energy and GHG Strategy for a Fortune 200 manufacturing company and managed all energy-related initiatives for 100-plus facilities in more than 30 countries—from RFPs to project management, budget forecasts, ESG KPIs and CSR reporting.

“Danielle brings valuable, practical experience to help companies address their energy usage,” said Lisë Stewart, Partner and ESG Practice Leader. “Whether a business wants to reduce its carbon footprint or an investor seeks environmental transparency regarding a target company, Danielle and her team will be able to successfully guide leaders through this important process.”

Barrs holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Arizona State University and an MEM in Environmental Economics & Energy from Duke University. She is an affiliate of the Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps program and the GreenBiz Group.
