Sycamore Tree Capital Partners announced that Amanda Montgomery and Marc Gonyea have joined the firm in leadership marketing roles, as Sycamore continues to grow its relationships with institutional investors and consultants.

Montgomery arrives from Allianz Global Investors as Managing Director. At Allianz, she spent eight years in relationship management and sales roles, including as the Senior Relationship Manager responsible for the South-West region. Prior to Allianz, Montgomery was an institutional allocator at San Diego City Employees Retirement System, where she was Head of Public Markets for both fixed income and equities. Her career also includes positions with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and the US Navy.

Gonyea joins from Alcentra as Managing Director with a start date of July 1. At Alcentra, he was a Managing Director responsible for institutional clients across channels and regions in the US. Gonyea was also a senior marketer at Benefit Street Partners and held similar positions at Och-Ziff Capital, The Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs, and Bankers Trust.
