PNC Bank Appoints Leaders in Fort Worth Market

Date: May 12, 2022 @ 08:00 AM

PNC Bank appointed key market leadership positions in Fort Worth, where the bank now ranks as one of the top financial institutions in deposit market share with its acquisition of BBVA USA. These market leaders, both Fort Worth natives, will be responsible for driving growth, providing customers and clients in the market with access to PNC’s industry-leading technology, and introducing a full range of innovative products and capabilities.

“Our strategy in Fort Worth will always be driven by a locally-based team of industry-leading professionals that know the business and social landscape of this area, and we strongly believe these leaders perfectly encapsulate that approach,” said Dale Klose, PNC Southwest and Mountain Region territory executive. “We live our Main Street Banking model every day in each market that we call home. Even though I oversee a broader geographic territory for PNC, I’m proud to call Fort Worth home and believe we have tremendous growth opportunities ahead for our local clients. This Fort Worth team will meet and exceed those expectations in a pivotal year for PNC.”

Newly Appointed Leaders

  • Brian Rudd, Commercial Banking market leader, manages a team of professionals who are charged with delivering the full scope of lending solutions, cash management services, risk management strategies and innovative ideas to help local companies address their business and financial needs. With more than 20 years of banking experience – and 15 years of that time with PNC or its legacy banks – Rudd previously served as the PNC Business Banking market executive in North Texas and prior to that served as the Business Banking Area Sales Manager for BBVA USA. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
  • Katy Rhodes Magruder, PNC Private Bank market lead, will oversee a team of professionals who ensure PNC Private Bank clients benefit from the institution’s full spectrum of wealth strategy, investment management, fiduciary, and credit and cash management solutions. She most recently served as a private client advisor at Texas Capital Bank, with prior roles that include director of Client Relations for Muzinich and Co., Director of Executive Services on the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee and Director of Development for Texas 2036. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas.

These leaders, with more than 40 combined years of industry experience, will guide PNC Bank’s success in the market by continuing to build on the strong foundation already in place through the bank’s BBVA USA acquisition, the growth PNC has seen in the market over the past four years, and the numerous clients it already serves in the area.

“We’re thrilled to have these leaders in place and on the ground in Fort Worth, and I have no doubt that Brian and Katy will provide successful guidance to the essential lines of business they will oversee,” said Brendan McGuire, PNC Regional President for North Texas. “These appointments strengthen our commitment to Fort Worth and enhance our ability to serve our clients in a localized way. This is one of the fastest-growing areas of the state and country, and more than ever, PNC is primed for growth in the market, where we are providing diverse banking capabilities and even more significant investments in our community.”
