Great Rock Capital announced Mignon Winston has joined the firm as a Vice President of Underwriting. She will be based in Connecticut and serve as one of the company’s underwriting team leaders.
“We are happy to welcome Mignon to the team,” said Kathy Auda, Chief Risk Officer of Great Rock Capital. “Her robust credit knowledge and extensive experience in the asset-based lending industry will be instrumental as we continue to grow and scale the Great Rock platform.”
Mignon joins Great Rock with over 30 years of experience in asset-based middle market lending. Most recently, as a Managing Director at White Oak Commercial Finance, she evaluated and managed the approval and closing of new business transactions. Mignon has also held underwriting, credit administration, and portfolio management roles at Sterling National Bank, First Capital, Wells Fargo Bank, CIT, and Heller Financial, plus received formal credit training at Chemical Bank. She is an active member of Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network, where she currently serves on its Education and Women in Secured Finance committees. Mignon earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her M.B.A. from New York University.
