CohnReznick announced that Dan Meers has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Technology+ practice. Meers will assume the role of data and analytics leader for the practice, initially focusing on delivering technology and data solutions to CohnReznick clients in the federal government/public sector and financial services industries.
Meers has extensive experience in organizational redesign and restructuring for operations and technology teams. He has been a trusted advisor and leader for numerous program implementations for Fortune 100 businesses inclusive of solution design, detailed architecture and planning, and execution support. Meers has strong leadership skills overseeing large and complex client engagements that result in innovative solutions to mitigate risk and improve operational and technological management.
Meers is also a recognized thought leader in the industry, and, in the past two decades, has co-authored three books – Data Warehousing for e-Business (2001); Supply Chain Plus (2004); and The Data & Analytics Playbook (2016) which comprises 20 years of Industry presentations and publications in data and analytics.

Before joining CohnReznick, Meers was a Finance Data Officer and Vice President for a major retirement company where he assessed and built a post-transformation three-year roadmap for financial capabilities, systems, and data. He has also supported clients by developing and deploying technology that expands capabilities in demand management, strategy execution management, global operations services, risk-based controls, standardized management accounting cycle, and reporting.
Meers earned a BSBA, Accounting, from Franklin University. He holds a certificate in Executive Education – Strategy, Planning, and Portfolio Management from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and completed Executive Education in Business Analytics for Leaders from the University of California, Berkeley – Haas School of Business.
