Mark Forrest has joined Citizens as a senior vice president on the asset-based lending team to bring additional local focus and expertise as Citizens continues to grow its presence in the Midwest and West regions. He will serve as a trusted advisor delivering best-in-class advice and insights to help Citizens' clients achieve their goals.
 
Based in Chicago, Forrest has many years of experience in the banking industry with expertise in originating, structuring and leading asset-based loans to support his Midwest clients. Most recently, he served as an Origination Director at Gordon Brothers where he represented the firm across the Midwest region to source asset valuation, disposition and capital deployment opportunities. Additionally, he spent 10 years at Truist Securities as a Managing Director of Originations and Capital Markets where he managed a $3 billion asset-based lending portfolio.
