Rift Valley Equity Partners, LLC ("Rift Valley") announced the closing of its private investment fund.

Rift Valley is a middle-market private investment firm with a focus on the consumer products & services, retail and industrial products & services sectors. Rift Valley has a long-term investment horizon, with a strategy centered on growing businesses and building value over time. Rift Valley was founded by David Caputo, who previously served as a Director in the Leveraged Finance group with RBC Capital Markets in New York.

Rift Valley also announced the appointment of two new Partners, Oliver Ong and Mark Woolgar. Oliver most recently served as a Vice President with Medley Capital in New York, a credit-focused investment firm. In addition to his role with Rift Valley, Mark is a corporate lawyer and Senior Partner with Woolgar VanWiechen Ketcheson Ducoffe LLP where he focuses on private M&A transactions. "Oliver and Mark each bring unique skills to Rift Valley, and will add significant value to the investment process," said David Caputo.
