Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) announced the addition of Vincent J. Pappalardo as managing director. He will lead BGL's Metals Industry practice and brings nearly 20 years of investment banking experience to the firm.
"I am excited to join the BGL team and expand the Metals Industry practice in the firm's already strong, well-known Industrials platform," said Pappalardo.
Pappalardo's distinguished investment banking career includes, most recently, managing director at Stout Risius Ross (SRR) and Head of the Metals Industry practice, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory for companies in the production and distribution of both ferrous and nonferrous metals and alloys, as well as diversified industrial sectors, encompassing both buy-side and sell-side and domestic and international transactions. Additionally, he has advised clients in the private placement of debt and equity, enterprise valuations, solvency and fairness opinions, and financial restructuring transactions. Before SRR, Vince founded the Metals Industry Group at a boutique investment bank in Chicago, following an 11-year tenure in the Basic Industrials Group at Houlihan Lokey. Earlier in his career, he was a second vice president in the corporate finance division for NBD Bank, where he assisted middle-market companies with business planning, derivatives, and bond issuances.
"We are thrilled to have Vince join our team. His deep Metals experience will greatly expand our ability to deliver value to clients in the industry," said Michael E. Gibbons, BGL founder and senior managing director.
