Bluewater announced that Miriam Rasmussen and Bret Hanson have joined the firm.

Rasmussen is a director, focused on serving West Coast field exam clients while spreading the news of Bluewater’s growing operations in the west. As a native of the Pacific Northwest, she has a deep understanding of that region’s unique lending climate, specialty industries, and customer needs. 

Rasmussen has performed due diligence for clients including top national banks, community and regional banks, private equity sponsors, and asset-based lenders. She is comfortable working in a wide range of industries including distributors, importers/exporters, e-commerce firms, manufacturers, health care providers, specialty finance firms, food processors, and agricultural producers.

Based in Portland, OR, Rasmussen's background includes customer service, business development, asset-based lending, commercial bank lending, and diligence services.

Hanson is a field examiner specializing in middle-market commercial and asset-based financing. He serves in the Bluewater Lender Analytics practice. His experience in management, banking operations, and project processing allows him to quickly assess fluid environments and find solutions to complex problems. He strives to achieve maximum clarity for lenders and increase efficiency for borrowers.
