Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has promoted Managing Director Jon Goulding to the role of Co-Head of the firm’s North American Commercial Restructuring Practice for the West Region.
Goulding specializes in financial and strategic planning, liquidity management and implementation of financial strategies for corporate turnaround and restructuring. With more than 18 years of management consulting, financial restructuring and interim management experience, he advises debtor and creditor clients, both in court and outside of bankruptcy.
“Jon’s commitment to serving clients in preparing business plans, assessing cash flow and liquidity, and developing restructuring strategies has been instrumental in establishing the firm’s foothold as a dominant player in the West. His contribution to A&M over the past decade equips the West Region with a leader who understands a wide spectrum of client needs,” said Bill Kosturos, the current Head of the firm’s North American Commercial Restructuring Practice for the West Region who will continue to co-lead the region with Goulding.
Goulding is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Additionally, he is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), the Southern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and the CFA Institute.
