Michael D. Sullivan is a Managing Director of Second Avenue Capital Partners (SACP), responsible for new business and loan origination. With a background in brand, enterprise, and asset valuations, Michael works closely with clients to structure and deploy asset-based solutions for companies in the broader retail and consumer products industry. He develops and manages key client relationships as well as covering sponsors, advisors, investment banks, and strategic partnerships.

Before SACP, Michael was a Managing Director at Gordon Brothers Group where he was responsible for business development in the Northeast Region for the firm’s Valuation & Advisory Services Division. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers Group, he held leadership roles in two other major valuation firms in the United States.

An active member of the asset-based lending community, Michael is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the Commercial Finance Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, and a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers with a concentration in Business Valuation. He received his BS in finance from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
