September 28, 2016, 07:06 AM

Capital One announced the appointment of Vincent Punzi as Vice President of Originations for its Multifamily Finance business. In this role, Punzi will be focused on originating Freddie Mac small balance loans (SBL) across the country. He will report to Senior Vice President Elie Tannous.

“Vincent’s experience on both the agency and balance sheet sides of the commercial real estate business make him a perfect addition to our team,” said Tannous. “Additionally, his expertise and track record with Freddie Mac small balance loans fits with Capital One’s efforts to bring a full range of financing solutions to our customers.”

Prior to joining Capital One, Punzi served as National Account Manager, Multifamily/CRE Term Loans at Sabal Financial Group. In that role, he drove Freddie Mac SBL originations and managed national accounts in the broker channel to originate multifamily and commercial real estate loans nationwide. Punzi served as a Director of Business Development for Lee & Associates before joining Sabal Financial Group.

“Capital One has a reputation for providing smart, creative financing for its clients, whether through balance sheet or agency lending,” said Punzi. “I’m eager to start making a contribution to the range of services Capital One offers by drawing on my experience working with Freddie on SBL loans.”

Capital One Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group offers a comprehensive array of financing solutions for property owners and developers nationwide, including balance sheet and agency lending.
