The Jordan Company has named Douglas J. Zych as head of capital markets. Zych joined the middle-market private equity firm in 1995.

The Jordan Company (“TJC”), a leading middle-market private equity firm, today announced the appointment of Douglas J. Zych as Head of Capital Markets. In this newly created position, Mr. Zych will be responsible for leading the firm’s capital markets activities for new and existing portfolio investments as well as overseeing its relationships with corporate finance providers.

Mr. Zych joined The Jordan Company in 1995 and has worked closely with a number of its portfolio companies. As a senior member of the investment team, his experience includes the execution of numerous capital markets transactions including leveraged loan, high yield bond, private placement, asset securitization and equity offerings. Prior to joining TJC, he served as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Zych received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
