Avant Global announced the promotions of Thomas Carroll to Chief Information Officer, and Victoria Ippolito as Controller.

As Chief Information Officer, Carroll will be responsible for leading research initiatives, discovery of future partnerships, due diligence on venture investments and constructing the supply chain of AG's information ecosystem to ensure all facets of the organization maintain the mission of the company.

Previously, Carroll served as Avant Global’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and managed the holding company’s overall financial operations, investment due diligence and strategic vision. Before joining Avant Global in May 2013, Carroll was a Financial Specialist at Jasper Design Automation, an international software company specializing in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry where he managed numerous accounting operations and financial planning support as the VP of Finance’s second in command.

As Avant Global’s Controller, Ippolito will be responsible for preparing financial statements, general ledger, payroll, AR/AP, budgeting and various special analyses. Her role will be a combination of operational and strategic roles primarily through managing accounting and financial control functions, and establish strategies for the profitable long-term growth of the business. She will also serve as Assistant to the Chief Information Officer. Ippolito joined the Avant Global team as an intern in 2016, and took on a full-time role as the firm’s Junior Controller and Office Manager earlier this year.

Previously, she was an Assistant Planner at Siemens Planning, a private permitting and land-use consulting firm located in Carpinteria.
