McGlinchey Stafford Elects Seven New Members of the Firm

McGlinchey Stafford PLLC, an ACA International member company with offices in Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi, recently announced the election of seven new members of the firm: Laura Greco, Emily Stroope, Christopher A. Bottcher, Brian A. Paino, Susan E. Chylik, Bryan Kostura and Kristi W. Richard.

  • Laura Greco represents banks, mortgage companies and other financial institutions in the areas of commercial finance, banking operations and consumer financial services compliance and litigation. She is licensed to practice in New York and California, and practices from the firm’s Albany and Irvine offices. Prior to joining McGlinchey Stafford in 2009, Greco served as Deputy General Counsel for the New York State Consumer Protection Board.
  • Emily Stroope joined McGlinchey Stafford’s Dallas office as an associate in 2013. She represents lenders, mortgage servicers, banks, and other financial institutions in mortgage lending litigation and consumer financial services litigation. She regularly handles real estate title contests and contract disputes.
  • Christopher A. Bottcher joined McGlinchey Stafford in 2015 and played a key role in the firm’s expansion to Alabama through the opening of its Birmingham office that year. Bottcher represents companies across a variety of industries in a vast range of civil, business, and commercial litigation matters, as well as in business and consumer fraud claims. Bottcher frequently represents corporate clients in matters involving trade secrets and the enforcement of restrictive covenants.
  •  Brian A. Paino joined McGlinchey Stafford’s Irvine, Calif., office as of counsel in 2014. Paino has extensive experience representing companies in consumer financial services litigation and general commercial litigation, with a concentration on defending and asserting creditors' rights in state and federal courts throughout the U.S. He also has extensive appellate experience, having represented clients in matters before the U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
  • Susan E. Chylik joined McGlinchey Stafford’s Cleveland office in 2011. Chylik advises state and national banks, automotive and personal property finance companies, mortgage lenders and servicers, and small loan lenders on a variety of compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Bryan Kostura joined McGlinchey Stafford’s Cleveland office in 2013. Kostura represents both publicly traded and private companies in civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on consumer financial services litigation. A major in the U.S. Army Reserves, he serves as the Senior Defense Counsel in the 16th Legal Operations Detachment.
  • Kristi W. Richard joined McGlinchey Stafford’s Baton Rouge, La., office as an associate in 2009. Richard advises business clients, including small businesses, lenders, insurance companies and producers, regarding general business and corporate matters, insurance regulation and compliance issues, and commercial lending. She also advises clients in matters of Louisiana wills, trusts and estates. In addition to her practice, Richard serves as adjunct professor of sports law and business law at Louisiana State University.
