Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced that Adam Summers has joined the Firm as a partner in the Finance practice, based in New York.

Summers' practice focuses on credit and capital markets transactions. He has extensive experience advising investment banking clients and debt funds throughout the deal process, from the early stages through closing and funding. He also has represented various corporate clients on a wide range of financing transactions.

"With his diverse experience in financial matters, Adam is a welcome addition to our very active Finance practice as we continue to counsel our clients on their most sophisticated matters," David J. He has particular expertise negotiating commitment letters in connection with acquisition financings. Mr. Summers has worked on numerous subscription credit facilities for private equity and debt funds.

Before joining Fried Frank, Summers was a partner in Cadwalader's New York office. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Yeshiva University. Mr. Summers is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

"I look forward to working with Adam," said Daniel J. Bursky, co-head of the Firm's Capital Markets Practice. "His broad expertise in the financial markets and his extensive t/ransactional experience will add additional breadth to our strong corporate finance platform."
