MB Business Capital announced that Brian Roman has joined its middle-market asset based lending team as senior underwriter and vice president in MB’s Rosemont, Illinois office. In this role, he will be underwriting and managing new lending relationships. He will be reporting to Jeff Seiden, senior vice president, director of ABL underwriting.

Roman brings over 20 years of banking experience to MB. Previously he served as a vice president of Gibraltar Business Capital. Prior to Gibraltar, he held positions at Bank of America/LaSalle Business Credit and other financial institutions. He has experience in field exam, credit analysis, portfolio management, underwriting and workout.  Roman received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.
