Professional Bank, a South Florida bank with concierge-style service, announces Marcel Summermatter as their new Senior Vice President and Market Leader for Broward County. Summermatter has been tasked with growing Professional Bank's presence in Broward County building on the bank's success in Miami Dade and Palm Beach counties. 

Previously, Summermatter was the Senior Vice President of Regions Bank's South Florida Middle Market Department. While at Regions Bank, his focus was on driving banking solutions for companies in the $25 million to $250 million range. Summermatter's experience contains over 14 years of relationship management and leadership roles in commercial banking including Asset Based, Middle Market, Municipal, Small Business, and International Banking.

Currently, Summermatter serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce where he also chairs the International Trade Committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Alliance where from 2012 -2015 he co-chaired the International Action Team, which helped facilitate foreign direct investment into Broward County. In addition, Mr. Summermatter is the President of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce for Florida since 2011.
