Banc of California announced the promotion of Thomas Hill to serve as Senior Vice President, Head of Middle Market Banking for the Bank.  Mr. Hill joined Banc of California in March 2018 as the Commercial Banking Market Executive for Los Angeles.  In the expanded role, Mr. Hill will oversee all middle market banking efforts covering Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.

In Hill's new role, he will lead all Middle Market Banking activities, and will partner with the Treasury Management group to provide a comprehensive suite of products and services to this market segment.

Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Hill was with Opus Bank, where he most recently served as Senior Managing Director, Commercial Banking for the Los Angeles region.  He brings over 15 years of commercial banking experience, and previously worked at East West Bank, Union Bank, and City National Bank.  Mr. Hill holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Maryland at Towson and holds a M.S. in Business and Finance from John Hopkins University.
