Doug Arthur has joined Essex Capital Group, Inc. as Managing Director, bringing to the firm over 30 years of financial services experience.

Most recently, Arthur had been a principal at Gries Investment Funds, a boutique merchant banking firm specializing in alternative debt and private equity. Prior to Gries, he had worked in varying roles in commercial banking and corporate finance.

At Essex, Arthur will be responsible for sourcing new debt placement opportunities with small and mid-market companies.
