Berkshire Bank announced the appointment of Steven Lauer as Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager for the Central New York region. Lauer offers extensive industry leadership, commercial real estate expertise, community involvement, and business banking experience.
Lauer has more than 20 years of relationship management and business development experience in the banking industry. Most recently, he served as Commercial Loan Officer at Generations Bank, where he managed a portfolio of clients and was responsible for identifying and obtaining new commercial clients.

Steven has a proven track record with over 20 years’ experience in the banking industry. He brings incredible momentum to managing customer relationships and exemplifying his commitment to the community,” said Jamison Flora, vice president and New York Business Banking team leader. “Steven will continue to strengthen our business banking leadership through his loan management experience and build upon our strong momentum in 2018.”
Lauer attended Le Moyne College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, as well as his Master of Business Administration/Finance. Active in the community, Lauer serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes.
