Univest Bank and Trust Co. Appoints South Jersey Commercial Banking Team

Univest Bank and Trust Co. will further expand its footprint in southern New Jersey with the addition of three commercial lenders. This commercial banking team has worked together over the past several years serving South Jersey communities. The new commercial banking team includes:

  • Michael Valle joins as senior vice president and team leader. He has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as team leader for Berkshire Bank’s expansion into Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is active in his local community and currently serves as the President of the family association at the Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School. Valle resides in Philadelphia.
  • Michael Carpino joins as a vice president and relationship manager. He has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as vice president and relationship manager at Berkshire Bank. His concentration is lending in the medical and dental industries. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Rider University. Carpino resides in Chalfont, Pa.
  • Robert Medlock joins as a vice president and relationship manager. He has 33 years of experience in the financial services industry most recently serving as vice president and relationship manager at Berkshire Bank. Medlock earned his bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University. He resides in Philadelphia.
