BHI appointed Vicki Andreadis as general counsel. With a legal career that spans nearly twenty years, Andreadis has spent the past decade in senior legal positions with financial services firms.
“Vicki brings to BHI a comprehensive breadth of legal experience that encompasses specific expertise in financial services regulation and compliance, as well as a number of years in the public sector. She will be an invaluable addition to the team at BHI,” said Gil Karni, BHI CEO.
Andreadis joins BHI from RBC Capital Markets, LLC, where she served as Director, Senior Counsel in the firm’s law group. In that position, she provided counsel on a comprehensive spectrum of regulatory, litigation, and compliance issues, with oversight of all aspects of regulatory matters.
Previously, Andreadis was Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in the litigation, regulatory and employment group at Jefferies LLC, where she represented institutional and retail businesses in regulatory matters. Prior to Jefferies, Andreadis served as Assistant Attorney General, Investor Protection Bureau.
In 2008, she was honored with the Louis Lefkowitz Award for her work in connection with the Attorney General’s auction rate securities investigation. She began her career as a litigation associate at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLC.
Andreadis received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Barnard College and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and United States District Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
