The PNC Financial Services announced its treasurer and longtime finance leader, Randall King, will retire from the company, effective Sept. 1. During his 39-year career with PNC, King has played key roles in helping manage PNC’s liquidity and capital strategies through periods of growth and transformation, including serving as treasurer through the acquisition of BBVA USA. King has also held various leadership roles within the Pittsburgh community. He is currently a board member and treasurer of HEARTH and a member of the Duquesne University Investment Center Advisory Council.

“Over the course of his career, Randy has been a tireless advocate for PNC and an integral part of our growth from a small regional bank to a coast-to-coast franchise,” said Bill Parsley, Chief Operating Officer, PNC. “He is a respected leader within our company and in our community, and we thank him for his decades of service and dedication.”

King will be succeeded in the role of treasurer by David Kahn, currently a Managing Director for PNC’s chief operating office. Kahn joined PNC in 2005 and has recently served as the head of risk for the Asset & Liability Management team and led its credit product efforts. Prior to that, he held various roles in PNC’s Asset-Backed Finance group and Financial Services Advisory & Banking team. Kahn graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in business

“With his extensive experience in the capital markets and his deep knowledge of our company and balance sheet, David is well-suited for the treasurer role,” said Parsley. “We look forward to his continued contributions and leadership in this new capacity.”
