Genesis Bank announced Anthony Ochoa has joined Genesis as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Market Leader. He is responsible for expanding the bank’s commercial banking efforts across its target markets of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties in California.

Ochoa joins Genesis from City National Bank, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, where he was Senior Vice President, Business Development Officer – Nationwide. During his tenure at City National Bank, Ochoa was highly successful in growing, retaining and managing full client relationships, having achieved multiple awards for excellence and top performance. Through his broad experience in business development and relationship management, Ochoa has a deep understanding of growing, managing and retaining a significant book of business. Additionally, Ochoa’s experience working across numerous business segments, including business banking, commercial, private, entertainment and real estate, provides for a deep understanding of the technology enabled, commercial banking products, services, and solutions that are critical to serving the entrepreneurial small to mid-sized businesses and owners across the Bank’s Southern California target markets.
