Capital One Bank Appoints SVP to Mid-Market Lending Team

Capital One Bank announced that Cynthia Selover has joined its middle-market lending team in New York as senior vice president and relationship manager.  In her new role, Selover will provide lending and commercial banking services to the bank’s middle-market customers in the Northeast.

“Cindy is a superb addition to our team; she brings a wealth of experience, strong relationships and a track record of success in the middle market,” said Ellen Marshall, Northeast Regional Executive for Middle Market Commercial Banking. “Her industry expertise and her deep knowledge of the Northeast market will be an invaluable asset as we deliver a superior client experience and grow our middle market business in the region.”

Prior to joining Capital One Bank, Selover served as senior vice president at Citibank, where she provided a broad range of lending and wealth management solutions to financial advisor teams and their corporate clients. Previously, Selover served middle-market clients at financial institutions that include Merrill Lynch, Fleet Bank, and National Bank of Canada.

“I’m excited to join this high-performing team, as it continues to expand throughout the Northeast region,” said Selover. “I look forward to helping the team provide the superior service and customized financial solutions that our middle market clients require.”

Selover holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from New York University. She serves as a volunteer Director for Operation Hope, and is a member of NYC Advisory Board for Friends of Karen.
