He was previously co-chair of the Energy practice at a prominent regional firm, and in-house counsel to a well known energy company.

He has extensive experience representing both public and private companies, and has advised countless emerging and established companies on energy and transactional matters, including clean coal and other fossil fuel]related generation, bio-fuels, biomass, energy and demand management, smart grid, solar, wind, storage, fuel cells and other distributed generation technologies. He has routinely assisted clients in proceedings before numerous state and federal regulatory agencies including the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
