First Capital announced the hiring of Bruce J. Mettel as Vice President and Senior Underwriter. Mr. Mettel will be based out of the Chicago office located in the ABL Central Region and will be responsible for underwriting and risk analysis of new business throughout the upper Midwest region. Mr. Mettel has over 25 years in the financial industry in credit, underwriting and portfolio management.

Prior to joining First Capital, Mr. Mettel spent 10 years with PNC Bank as Senior Relationship Manager/Vice President.  Other previous positions include Senior Account Executive with Bank of America, Senior Relationship Manager with Finova Capital Corporation and Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department of the Bank of Tokyo. Mr. Mettel has a BA in Accounting from Loras College in Dubuque Iowa, an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
