BGL Adds Director of Sponsor Coverage, Expands Industry Teams

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) announced the addition of six talented professionals to its Investment Banking and Real Estate Groups.

E. Robert (Bob) Kent III joins BGL as a managing director to lead the firm's coverage of private equity firms.  Most recently he served as a managing director in the Financial Sponsors Group at Stifel Investment Banking in Philadelphia.  He has also held various positions in investment banking at Banc of America Securities in San Francisco and Charlotte and at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York. Kent earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, and an AB in Economics from Princeton University. He holds the Chartered Finance Analyst® designation.

Joining the Cleveland office is Justin A. Wolfort as director.  Wolfort joins BGL from Western Reserve Partners where he was a director and led transaction executions, including sell-side and buy-side M&A and capital raising, across a diverse industry client base.  He began his career in corporate finance as an analyst with KeyBanc Capital Markets and McDonald Investments.  Wolfort earned an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Syracuse University.

The Chicago office welcomes David Sastre as associate.  Sastre joins BGL from the M&A Group at Plante Moran Corporate Finance, where he was an associate focusing on the industrials and healthcare sectors.  Mr. Sastre also held positions as senior associate with Discover Financial Services and M&A associate with Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance in their Madrid office.  He earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Economics from Universidad de Alcalá in Madrid, Spain.

BGL Real Estate Advisors (BGLREA) is joined by Alma K. (Katie) Mazur as associate.  Mazur was previously with DDR Corp. where she was a manager of Funds Management.  She received a BS from Miami University Richard T. Farmer School of Business.  Joining BGL Real Estate Partners (BGLRP) are Anthony Naticchioni as managing director in the Industrials Group and Ryan Butler as analyst in the Multifamily Group.  Naticchioni has over 21 years of experience in sourcing, analyzing, underwriting, and executing real estate investment transactions and has provided advisory, acquisition, and disposition services for assets valued in excess of $1 billion.  He graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a BS in Business Administration.  Butler joins BGL from Allstate Investments where he was an analyst and assisted portfolio managers in implementing investment strategies for the Allstate Corporation portfolio.  He is a graduate from DePaul University where he received a BS in Business.
