CSG Names Peretore to Commercial Finance Practice

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”) announced that Frank Peretore has joined the firm as a member concentrating in the representation of secured creditors and lessors in the equipment leasing and asset based lending industry. Over the course of 30 years as an attorney, Peretore has developed a wide range of experience in the drafting of transactional documentation and enforcement of leases and loans for commercial equipment, machinery, railcars and vehicles as well as for the purchase and sale of multimillion dollar portfolios. He will officially join the firm on June 30 and will team with CSG’s roster of litigation, bankruptcy and corporate attorneys to provide clients with counsel tailored to leverage a knowledge base that spans all aspects of a business’s operations.
 
Practicing in both New York and New Jersey, Peretore also advises corporations, business entities, and creditors and lessors in matters of litigation and pursuit of claims against debtors who have entered bankruptcy. He has built a track record of success in restructuring agreements and moving to seize assets in order to maximize recovery for clients.

Peretore, a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, has practiced law since 1985. He has published two books on equipment leasing and secured transactions, and has authored numerous articles for legal publications including theNew Jersey Law Journal, Equipment Finance Advisor, Equipment Leasing & Finance Magazine, National Equipment Finance Association Newsline and Equipment Leasing Newsletter. A current member of the Board of Editors for the Law Journal Newsletter’s Equipment Leasing section, Peretore has also served in leadership positions for a number of industry groups, including the Legal Chairperson and the Board of Directors for the National Equipment Finance Association and Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors.
 
Prior to joining CSG, Peretore practiced for Peretore & Peretore, a firm he co-founded.
