Crestmark Announces Five Promotions

Crestmark Bank announced the promotions of five individuals. At the corporate headquarters in Troy: Teri Haynes, Douglas Kollman and Eric Ball in operations; and Colin Madole in the Joint Ventures Group. In the West Division’s Los Angeles, California office: Bronwyn Abeyta in asset-based lending operations.

Teri Haynes has been promoted to first vice president, operations manager, data services from vice president, operations supervisor. She reports to Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations Manager Matthew Barbuscak, and is based in Troy. In this role, she oversees the company’s lockbox department, and payment/debtor/invoice analysis for the Transportation Division and Midwest Region. Haynes joined Crestmark in 2004 as a client analyst, and later was promoted to senior client analyst and team leader. In 2011, she was promoted to operations officer, and given oversight of the lockbox department. In 2012, she was promoted to assistant vice president, operations officer; and in 2013, she was promoted to vice president, operations supervisor.  

Doug Kollman has been promoted to first vice president, operations manager, client services from vice president, operations supervisor. In this role, Kollman oversees an operations team responsible for client support in the Midwest and Southeast Regions, and the Transportation Division. He reports to Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations Manager Matthew Barbuscak, and is based in Troy.  Kollman joined Crestmark in 2001 as a client analyst. In 2011, he was promoted to operations officer, overseeing collateral analysis for the Troy/Midwest region. In 2012, he was promoted to assistant vice president, operations officer; in 2013, he was promoted to vice president, operations officer.  Previously, Kollman worked for the Minnesota office of Manchester Commercial Finance. 

Colin Madole was promoted to vice president, account executive for the Joint Ventures Group from assistant vice president, account executive. Based in Troy, Madole reports to Larry Pearce, executive vice president, and president of Crestmark’s Joint Ventures Group. Madole joined Crestmark in 2011 as a junior field examiner before being promoted to staff field examiner in 2012. In 2013, Madole was promoted to financial analyst for the Joint Ventures Group; in 2014 he was promoted to assistant vice president; in 2015, he was promoted to assistant vice president, account executive. Madole manages Crestmark’s partnerships in the Joint Ventures Group, and helps customize specialty financing products, including Tax Credit Transactions, within the Joint Ventures Group. Madole has an active role in managing specialty financing products, including leases in the alternative energy sector that involve Federal Investment Tax Credit transactions.

Bronwyn Abeyta has been promoted to senior collateral analyst, team leader, and assistant vice president for the West Division. Abeyta is based in Crestmark’s Los Angeles, California office, and reports to Julie Halbert, first vice president, West Division Portfolio Manager. Since joining Crestmark in 2013, Abeyta has had an important role in the establishment and operation of the company’s Los Angeles office. She has taken the lead in training staff, and managing capacity and new business. Abeyta has more than 18 years of experience in asset-based lending operations. Before joining Crestmark, Abeyta was a collateral analyst for Austin Financial Services. Earlier, she was a commercial loan administrator for Sovereign Bank-BACC; senior collateral analyst for Fremont Financial Corp.; branch utility/operations assistant for Century Bank

Eric Ball has been promoted to operations officer, client analyst for the Midwest Region. He is based in Troy, and reports to First Vice President, Operations Supervisor Douglas Kollman. Ball, who joined Crestmark in 2008 as an invoice analyst, was promoted to client analyst in 2010. Ball, who has been important to building successful client relationships for Crestmark, also mentors and provides training to Crestmark’s team of client analysts based in Troy.
