SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH) has hired Sunil Moser, a former power and utilities banker at Credit Suisse in New York, to lead a new push into domestic power finance and M&A advisory. Moser joins as a managing director, and is based in Atlanta.
He will report to Jim Warren, managing director and head of Energy Investment Banking.“Sunil will help enhance our ability to deliver a comprehensive suite of investment banking solutions to power and utility clients and is part of concerted effort to increase market penetration in the Energy sector,” said Warren.
Through his career, Moser has been involved in transactions across the power sector, with a focus on merchant generation financing and M&A. His recent deals include financings for AES, Calpine and Freeport LNG and M&A advisory for Borealis, Energy Capital Partners, and I Squared.
