Seth Benefield is a senior vice president and marketing manager for Eastern United States and Europe at Bank of America Business Capital, part of the Wholesale Credit division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He is based in Atlanta, Georgia.

In this role, Benefield leads a team of business development professionals who provide asset-based solutions and banking products to large and middle market companies, intermediaries and financial sponsors on the East Coast of the United States and across Europe.

A 16-year veteran with the firm, Benefield was most recently a credit products manager of Specialized Industries. Prior to that he spent 15 years with Bank of America Business Capital as a field examiner, underwriter, relationship manager and portfolio team leader.

Prior to joining Bank of America, he served as a special agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Georgia. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 FINRA registrations.
