Breslin, Young & Slaughter, LLC, formerly Breslin & Young Financial Consultants, LLC (B&Y), celebrated its 15th year in business on October 1, 2016.  BY&S is a boutique healthcare financial consulting firm that primarily assists healthcare lenders and equity investors in assessing risk and making sound credit decisions regarding current and prospective loans and investments.

B&Y was initially started by Amy Breslin and Brian Young to provide financial consulting services to small- to medium-sized businesses in various industries, as well as commercial finance institutions.  With significant healthcare lending experience, healthcare lenders, investors and providers quickly became the primary niche on which the firm focused. 

In 2009, the firm rebranded as Breslin, Young & Slaughter, LLC to incorporate the newest partner Duke Slaughter.  This addition increased the depth and knowledge of the existing healthcare team allowing the company to focus solely on healthcare financial consulting projects. 

Since forming BY&S, the firm has continued to grow its team of healthcare consultants by hiring seasoned healthcare professionals and training others.  The total number of staff employed by BY&S now exceeds 25 and the firm will work on more than 400 different projects this year for its clients.  BY&S’s expertise allows it to provide services such as field exams, quality of earnings reviews, portfolio servicing, part-time and interim management, and work out services.
