Minnesota-based Commonwealth Capital, LLC has achieved tremendous growth this year in their factoring portfolio, as well as with the management team. Over the last few months, Commonwealth Capital has appointed Kraig Gunwall to Executive Vice President of Sales and Amy Balciunas to Executive Vice President of Credit and Underwriting.

Gunwall brings over 20 years of financial, marketing, and sales experience. Over the past few years, he has helped small-to-large factoring companies re-brand their image, develop and oversee their marketing, and built nationwide sales teams. Gunwall has been a key part of these management teams in deciding the direction of the company. He also helped expand their products giving them the ability to provide customers with more solutions. Gunwall has not only grown corporations with his strategy and sales expertise but even began his own business, growing it from one location to thirteen in just two years. He is a true entrepreneur at heart and loves helping small business not only with their cash flow needs but also enjoys the consultative side, helping businesses make better decisions, in turn helping them grow.
As EVP of Credit & Underwriting for Commonwealth Capital, Balciunas has a broad range of operational experience. Amy brings with her almost 15 years’ experience in the factoring industry. She believes that listening to what clients need & offering flexibility is important for both servicing the client and managing risks for Commonwealth Capital. Balciunas began her factoring career as an account executive, then moved into underwriting & structuring transactions and has transitioned to overseeing the credit department & portfolio management. Prior to joining Commonwealth Capital, she held senior management positions at Sky Business Credit, LLC and Bibby Financial Services (Midwest), Inc.
